sometimes, like here, the lack of DOF actually makes the image work, and gives the image a sense of depth and scale. If the fence were also tack sharp, this would look flat and graphic. As is, very deep and more dynamic. The non-centered window and the angling upward fence, pointing at the focused subject really make this image work for me.
