Thanks for all the great comments. I agree with the tree distraction and the need for a potent central focus. Wish I could have had the whole lower third with daffs but oh well, I'm more than happy with the finish. Thanks again.

A strong 'treated' sky (a bit too dramatic for me) but the rows of crops are just too super-sharp. The scene is nice enough but lacks that potent focal point which was so mucha trademark of AA.

Confusion sets in. Your title says the subject should be the dafodils, but your shot says that the subject should be the sky. Discarding the title, the sky alone is not enough to create a lasting impression.
