I would consider this a "soft" picture. I guess that's a compliment if that's what you were aiming for. (I gave it as a compliment). Light colors on light colors seem difficult to do, effectively, but you have done them well. I also like the fact that you got such a clean shadow from the curtain without having a really harsh light source.

I like the idea here. All the same tones of color, different shade patters, the curtain positioned on the left ... but that empty crooked picture frame on the left is totally distracting. I think you should've either straightened it and put a photo in it, or remove it altogether.

Its not a very interesting photo. You did get the shadows. The frame in the upper right doesn't do anything for the picture. Be aware of everything in your frame, and make sure nothing at the edges detracts from your picture.
