Lava Lampby malapropamComment by FranziskaLang: was there a way of achieving greater depth of field or was that impossible because it's a macro shot. it's times like these i'd love to see the specs... anyway, the photo meets the challenge, but doesn't appeal much to me, it looks a little gross (i know, that's what lava lamps are ...). -- gr8photos (3) |

shaded balconyby malapropamComment by stephan: Nice idea! Would be even nicer if you hadn't zoomed in so much. Somehow the image of a lonesome colorful umbrella on long wall of uniform and grey balconies in my mind now ;-) The barbed wire (?) in the front is distracting but I guess you couldn't do anything about it. shaded balconyby malapropamComment by Patella: I think you would have had something really cool here, but I have to admit, the jaggies in this are so bad that I can't think of a reason you'd want to do it and have to assume your camera is REALLY low end. I like the relativelty mute colors except for the bright splash of the umbrella -- also like the fun colors versus the sharp barbed wire in the foreground. Like I said, good composition, but not the best quality. |
