The colors are wonderful here, the lighting is good but your focus is just slightly off.

As for meeting the challenge you do but when I first saw this I didn't understand what was going on til I read your comment. Since this isn't something that is available during challenges I think a lot of voters just didn't get it.

One thing you need to watch is the angle you take a photo at. As it is you have a stick sticking out of his head.

The stick in the background bothers me a lot. It looks like it is being stuck into the main subjects head. Were it not for that it would have scored much higher.
