Comment by nico_blue:
you need ti rotate the picture a few degrees counterclockwise as the horizontal lines arent level to the frame.

The angle of the grid seems an accident -- iit needs to either be really horizontal, or more angled.

I like the objects chosen, colors of them is nice, and they look interesting. The tiles showing the vanishing point kinda seem like a 2nd thought. However, the title shows that that was the intention. Overall I really like it 7.

I think tilting the picture to the left would have accentuated the direction of the rolling marbles. Like this it's hard not to picture them rolling to the right, and, hence, dragging your eye away from the vanishing point.

I tried something similar for my entry, except using round stones instead of marbles. the problem was that they looked too static no mater how I placed them on the grid. So I gave up the idea. Perhaps a time exposure of the marbles rolling across the grid would have made a more interesting picture. i didn't think of this earlier, but your picture suggested it.

I can see what you've tried to do .. but the lines don't converge enough to give a vanishing point feeling ...

I have looked at this three or four times and I keep bumping it up. My first impression was "meets the challenge but the horizontal lines distract from the vanishing point and not much color". The second time I looked at it I took more time and noticed how the big ball with the air bubbles has a bit of purple and yellow and it kind of contrasts with the small blue slick looking ball that is full of reflection. Both of which contrast with the texture of the paper. What the heck. I like looking at this one so I'll give it a 10.

I wish you could see the whole reflection of the little train in this. It seems like you could have brought it down just a bit to capture the top of the smokestack.
