I don't really see a lot of high contrast between highlights and shadows. The hive is very busy, and DOF too shallow. |

The Complexity of Life...by taterbugComment by macrothing: 8 - Like the capture and toning. Criticism; perhaps slightly different angle, not sure. Just something to give it a little more impact/drama, slightly darker maybe, not sure. |

Waitin' for the busby taterbugComment by alfresco: I like the tones, the crop, and the hue. I'm iffy on the blow-out on the upper left as my eye is drawn towards it, however it is a nice balance to her dark hair. Very nice detail, especially in the eye area, you can count the eyelashes. Overall I like this photo. |
