Intriguing stories thorughout - I especially like the young man's bright-eyed avoidance of the couple against the wall. And I see there are still a lot of smokers in the midwest. Not so many out here anymore.

Not only abandoned but forbidden, as per the rope and signs. And so the somber tint handily furthers the point. What I really like about this image is the composition of squares and (other) rectangles comprising the entry. It looks like a quilt that's anything but gay. But it brings a bit of order to the scene.
