Ouch. Nice visual effect where the fork appears to be *in* the hand. Blood is pretty good - but IMO, falls down in two areas - last run against the hand is too red - should be color of clump just above the run - and the clump above the run has no reason to be there, unless they've been posed like that long enough for the blood to dry / coagulate. Regardless, visual is close enough to fool unless you look at it too long. Also like the single star on the plate. This just makes me wince in pain...

This is fantastic. The texture and light are perfect imo. The only thing that concerns me, and I understand the limitations of basic editing, are the white dots in the upper right hand corner. they upset the 'low key-ness' of the photo. in any case, a well deserved 8.
