Well, to add to the dissension, I like the dark on the left, but think the eyes are a bit overworked. I also agree that BW might work great with this, since the tones seem like they would fade really nicely. It's an interesting crop since chins usually help to define our sense of how somebody looks, but I think it works well here.

Interesting street photo. The shadows and the design on the wall make this an enjoyable photo. Without them I think it might be matter of fact and not terribly interesting, but they exemplify your composition well and combine very nicely.
