Aloft by BradComment by aKiwi: This is a cool image. Watched "Master & Commander" on DVD the day before seeing this so has real meaning. B&W is effective here. 9 |

Aloft by BradComment by jodiecoston: Amazing clarity in the details of the ropes and pulleys and the perfect sky for a shot like this. The sepia is the perfect tone and I can see this hanging on the office wall of any boat captain. 10 |

Aloft by BradComment by LittleGreenKat: i love the picture and the fact that you changed it from color to b&w but i wish there was just a bit more of the bottom of the ship in there 7 |

Aloft by BradComment by arngrimur: Great sky and shadows. The viewpoint is good and leaves enough room for the beautiful sky. I also like the border and the title. -8 |

Inner Rhythmby BradComment by Artyste: I'm writing this rather late, but I wanted to let you know that I thought that this should *easily* have been in the top 10.. in a perfect world :) However, I know as well as anyone how a person can get crucified for trying to be different.
I loved this photo however, and still do. It's got a great mood, and the grainy look was perfect.
Power to the people not afraid to try! :) |

Aloft by BradComment by blindjustice: great composition and clouds. I love the shadowy detail against the sail. Perhaps I would like better context for teh shot, les "cropping", showing more of the boat or horizon. I still like it better than most shots though. |
