Still Lifeby BradComment by MAK: I did the same kind of shot as you did here and finished 2 places below you.. mine was a portrait of my fiance but still, its not an easy shot to do AT ALL. this deserved a lot more and I feel mine did also but what can we do?.. LOL, as long as you like it I for one know how tough this shot is to pull off.. |

Still Lifeby BradComment by RKT: 2 seconds for a cat shot is AMAZING! You are sooooooo right about this being a one off...I don't think I have ever come close with all the cat pictures I have taken...a really nice image Brad, in every sort of way. |

Still Lifeby BradComment by Jamester: The cat is stuffed, right? :-) Just goes to prove the current hoo-hah about the challenge, yours doesn't suggest it met the rules (or that it would be unlikely) and gets panned, the winner looks like a long exposure of 2 seconds but isn't.
No justice. |

Still Lifeby BradComment by Neuferland: This is an amazing shot and you are right in that it's one time and one time only deal. To get a cat to sit still for 2 seconds while they are awake and you have a camera pointed at them, amazing. This should have scored much higher.

Still Lifeby BradComment by Bear_Music: I have to admit you set yourself a difficult hurdle there, Brad. You didn't even mention praying the cat would hold still.
I wish you'd done some drakening in th eupper left area, though; that would have strenghtened the shot immeasurably IMO. |
