This has a really nice balanced feel to it, between light and shadow. And you got the long-exposure effect in the water, too!

Hey Saj, I'd not seen this shot before. It's pretty cool. A cool concept, and thought provoking at the same time. I like the models pose and expression, works very well, IMO. One minor thing you could consider trying- I would clone out the white object in the upper right, being bright and so close to the models face, I find it seems to try and pull my attention away from the subject. A way cool image though. Kind of reminds me of this one of mine -

Hi Jason. Nice subject, isn't it? The trick is to find unique ways of presenting it.

This composition isn't bad, but I'm guessing the soft focus and underexposure hurt your score. I find it best to expose Washington's monuments and memorials at the lowest possible ISO and typically 4-6 seconds wide open.

Nice shot, I like her smile. Maybe try diffusing the light a bit more to make it more gentle?

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three now and I'm running late, sorry.

I love this, a ludicrously phallic image with "erected" in the title/ nice!

I really like the context of the action here. Great eye movement from left to right. There is something strange about the colors though, almost of the red dresses have too much brightness but not enough contrast? Curious if fill flash was used, or if the exposure was fixed in post? Still a great photo where the compostion and idea really shine through.
