Pirate Devil Ducky Claims Another Soulby theSajComment by glad2badad: I think it's quite creative and well done overall. A couple of things for me that could be adjusted.
1) The image seems flat or compressed. Were you positioned some distance away and used the longer end of your 200? Maybe it's lighting giving it that look. The area directly behind the 3 ducks up top. Looks like they are plastered against the wall.
2) Your horizon is tilted! Well, actually I think it was the angle in which you were positioned, but for some viewer/voters it could come across as not level especially with quick viewing. The line of fire and waves is where I find it evident.
3) The "plank" looks like a large block of wood because of the way it lines up with the ship on your background. The duck on the plank appears to be going onto the ship instead of heading away and into the water (where the cool looking devil duck awaits!).
Anyway, JMO of course. :) |

Pirate Devil Ducky Claims Another Soulby theSajComment by UrfaK: I definitely voted on this one and I gave a very high vote (Okay I give.. it was a 9).. because I thought the set up was creative and cute.. and in this challenge full of 'funny' pics this was one of the few that made me laugh.. Maybe the 1s are there because the people confused this with a photoshopped shot or didn't plain get it... |

Pirate Devil Ducky Claims Another Soulby theSajComment by Pug-H: It's a great idea, but I had to look at it for a little while before I got what was happening. (I didn't get to vote this one, BTW).
The story is, the duck is walking the plank, right? That would be more obvious if it wasn't for the ship and sail right behind him. The other thing I would suggest is actually tie a blindfold around his head and have him facing the other way, with perhaps one of the pirate duckies prodding him with a sword. ... so maybe it's not a matter of editing or reediting, but of duckie placement. ;-) |

How much Woodchuck do your Ducks chuck?by theSajComment by sfalice: I suppose, The Saj, you are posting this to "prove a point" but as long as you have posted it, I'll give you my opinion of the image:
Just as I feel strongly that cigarette companies should not advertise their products along with "candy-flavored cigarettes" or stuffed animals like "Joe Camels", so do I also believe that adult beverages should not be surrounded by kids toys.
If I'm wrong, and the beverage is not hard cider containing alcohol, than I apologize for the post. |
