A beautiful child. IMO the child is the primary focus of the photo pushing the rhythm of the fence out of importance. Maybe if the pattern of the fence led to the child and not away the visual affect might have been stronger. Either way it is a lovely photograph.

A very pleasing photograph. The repetition of lines, and the composition where the fence runs from one corner of the frame to the diagonal opposite creates directional movement > visual rhythm.
The cute little girl enhances your theme, because I can actually see her following along the fence line... as kids tend to do. Also she is so small in relation to surrounding contrasts and shapes, it makes a stronger visual statement.
