Interesting technique.. Pretty average shot and fairly boring Y. However the technique you used to make this high contrast B&W shot realy took the plain shot and stepped it up a knotch. Great job.

seems oversharpened to me, I don't care for the outline that appears around the tree, maybe that was your intent to make the letter stand out more, but I find that it distracts from the overall photo, also the tents on the bottom are very distracting, maybe it could have been taken from and angle that would have made them less obtrusive?
