Safety Textureby dahvedComment by alien2thisworld: I think this looks good in black and white. I find the primary subject and the focus to be at odds here. The primary subject, referenced by the title, is not in sharp focus, but the background is. The background certainly helps provide reasoning for the railing, though I wish the railing was in sharper focus than the backround. |

Safety Textureby dahvedComment by kim5814: This would be a lot better if the railing was in focus and not washed out. It also needs to be more prominent in the picture, it took a second to notice there was a railing in the picture. |

Safety Textureby dahvedComment by smyk: I get the idea but why did you focus on the waterfalls and not on the rail? The rail is suppose to be the subject right? As for the crop, I maybe a tighter crop from the top, to put more focus on the rail once again. |

Safety Textureby dahvedComment by lkn4truth: I know the foreground is your subject but the falls in the background makes this picture look like it's a ruined shot (like the rail got in the way). If you're focused on the rail maybe don't have such a magnificant scene in the background because it pulls the eye away from your subject. |
