I've been stalking our local "heronry" every day for a month hoping to get a shot like this but I've had no luck! This is definitely the best one in this challenge. If you don't win a ribbon I'll fall of my chair. -10

Have to confess I don't understand how bubbles of the US flag shows its values, but maybe I am naive. I would also think this is Photoshopped but I may be mistaken.

well executed, but I'm not sure I get the same message as the artist intended. I get the message that America is dilluted and viewed through prisms that distort it. Though that is an interesting thesis, it does not seem to demonstrate "strength", I've also seen this concept executed before.

Comment by Bran-O-Rama:
I hate to say it, but I think mostly everyone will agree this has got to be the most overused technique here on DPC. I give this a 1 for creativity. On top of that, the image overall lacks sharpness and the entire photo seems out of focus. I would've admired brighter highlights for this as well, 3 for technicality.

Comment by Dave Gordon:
This looks very similar to a clever use of water droplets to reflect an object (I think it was also a flag) in an earlier challenge. Since then, I have seen a number of variations on the theme, and it has evolved into a cliche IMHO.
