This is a little dark for my tastes, I really don't care much for B&W so am not a good judge of them; the shot has great depth of field; but what impresses most is the interplay of the violence in the waves at the top juxtaposed to the calm waters in the foreground, one could find several levels of meaning in that. This has given some ideas for shots to work on the next time I get to go to the ocean.

I really like the view, but the wave at the back looks a little overprocessed to me and jars in comparison to the rest of the image.
