Not sure what you tried to say with "the" backwards. Maybe if you flipped it. I know it wouldn't look real, cz if you see it from the front then it would be backwards. Still a nice take on it.....

Nice work. Seems like your focus is on the wrong thing. A little better focus on the man and the headstone he is near.
