Broken by trnqltyComment by EyeTrap: avg vote, the makeup and lighting gives the sense of broken heart but her eyes looking up sort of deters from that... would have liked to see her eyes looking down towards the rose. |

Broken by trnqltyComment by Tammer: A good emotive image. Nice reflection. I like the shape made by the negative space along the neck. The use of black & white also works well. |

Broken by trnqltyComment by figaro: Nice concept and good acting from the model - the image does lack a bit of sharpness though and I think the rose might be a bit too clichéd for some. |

me_web.jpgby trnqltyComment by CNovack: Whoa! Time exposure? I like the duo-tones that dominate the composition for it keeps it clean and calls the eye's attention to the main subjects. Exposure of the model (yourself) is very good - we can see all the details and especially the facial expression. Not quite too sure how the waterfall backdrop ties into your composition other than the fact that it (to me at least) initually invokes the idea that you like nature shots and you are an out-of-the box thinker in providing your audience with a new perspective/or way of looking at things:-) A quick glance at your gallery show some high calibre work and certainly some interesting compositions and angles to your photos. My only really nit about this shot is that the rock in the backdrop really shows through your hand and is a tad distracting away from the interesting action that shows you sizing up a shot with the way you cup your hands. |

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editionby trnqltyComment by violinist123: Critique Club feedback -
Nice lighting and the reflection under the model is a nice touch here. Her face looks a bit odd and as I see you were using hte liquify tool, I have to wonder if that's not the cause. A tighter crop might work well here as you are presenting this as a swimsuit model shot - let the model dominate the image. Overall, this is a good photo. |

Tennis is Servedby trnqltyComment by digitalknight: 6.0 on this is ridiculous - the voters are hacks
I'd like to see a challenge where we all shoot a tennis serve from the top - just to see how those who gave you 4, 5, and 6 fare.
I think this is excellent - as is your entire port. Are you making money doing this? Your portfolio says you should be for sure.
Nice work all the way around. |
