i like it, but would probably like it more with less of a border. two other suggestions i'd make would be to 1) tighten down on the f-stop as far as possible and jack out the shutter as long as possible to allow the branches to burn in as sharply as possible, and 2) use ps to clone out the distant scrub, leaving only the single tree.

this looks like a good place to go back and check out with different skies, at sunrise, with snow, etc. congratulations on finding "your tree to shoot." many of us are still riding around, looking for ours.
