House of Worshipby jazzmanmgtComment by obstetrify: Very well-proportioned. Almost like a fantasy castle. I would have waited a while
until the sun came around and lighted the front of the building. |

House of Worshipby jazzmanmgtComment by cyniczny: Nice shot! Too bad the time of day made the sun at that angle. Would have really been great to see more brightness on the main part of the building. 8. |

Marina Sunsetby jazzmanmgtComment by wewillexplore: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Hiya Mike,
This shot seems to have been taken 10 mins too late. The colors aren't very vibrant and it's not all that interesting to look at. It's missing something - a subject perhaps. I think if there was a bit more color, that would be good.
Is this focused sharply? I can't really tell - it doesn't SEEM it, but I can't really see any unnecessary blur, but it just doesn't feel sharp enough.

House of Worshipby jazzmanmgtComment by melismatica: There is too much going on here. Perhaps if you had concentrated on only one or two elements of this landscape? Lines leading into the image can be a good design element but here they are stopped short by the fountain which is to small to be the main focus and which interrupts the progression to the building. The building is impressive enough that you could have stood in front of the fountain to get the shot. As it is, it is too far back in the frame and there is not enough contrast between the building and the sky. I also think this is an ugly building and the landscaping is bad and it is probably influencing how I see this picture. |
