Need to use better software to convert / resize your pictures. Try IRFAN VIEW its free and great. I would be willing to bet you camera takes somewhat sharp photos, the colors look nice too.

Hehehe, I had a shot like this in mind, too, but wasn't able to pull it off in time. I like the composition and that, but the low compression does nothing to improve your shot. Try saving it with less compression (using the whole allowed 150k if necessary, not just 50k) next time if possible.

Probably others are saying this too, but you've got a lot of compression artifacts in your .jpg (look at the border between the trees and the sky), and not even close to maximum file size. I really like the subject of this photo though, and the long shadows that cut across the road gives it a sense of time.

Quite honestly, I probably shouldn't be voting this as high as I am. Like you care if I vote it high! :-) But I'm doing so because of whatever it is at the end of the road. There's something in that figure that looks like a lion or one of the other big cats leaping across the weeds in the road. Just waiting for me to walk down there and bring me to the end of my road. ;-)
