This is nice, but I can't help feeling another crop would work better. Strong shadow/light play - what about B&W? The spotlight on the right distracts.

This is defintiely not a technical masterpiece, but I prefer it that way. It has a wistful voibe to it and as such is quite memorable. I see many shots of trees that are just so perfect - sharp, focused, smooth - but this will stick with me longer than those for its evocative qualities.

I hope the tree is well cared for! : )
