I think the lighting is good. I wonder how this would work with a solid background though. I see that it's another one of these things that is in the background, and it works alright, but would like to see it with a simple, plain, one colored background. Your dof is alright and focus is good on the spikey things. color is nice and placement of the main subject is nice as well. Overall, nice abstract. ~Heather~

Interesting idea, but too abstract for me. The rust is barely visible and the indent is distracting. I also think there is too much light reflecting along the edge, which makes for too little contract between subject and background.

I'm not sure what this is, but the curve is nice. I think it would be more successful if it was brighter with a white background.
