Interesting idea, without the strength of our tripods, where would we be? Mabe needs a little more drama in the photo, for such an everyday object. Maybe a change in lighting.

All of these are unusually good comments. I am new to dpchallenge and think it will be enjoyable here. Besides being helpful, the above is quoted because I thought "flat" was really punny.

Nice try, but it really doesn't grab me. Technically, you did a good job and I like the crop.

I think this might be improved upon if the lighting were such that the spokes could be seen better. much of them are hidden in the shadows leaving a disconnect between the axis and the rim.

it's a good idea, but unfortunately given the fact that you only shot a part of it... u cannot really tell that is abandonned or what happened to the wheel;
good title

Too much contrast in the photo- It looks like the exposure is right for the frame and the bright parts of the fern and all of the detail in the shadows is lost.

the hot spots on the leaves are distracting, and subject should have been fill-flashed to combat the backlight.

Cute title. I like the play between light and shadow going on in this picture. Assuming this was actually a retired tire, breaking a spoke or two could have strenghtened the theme. As far as composition, I find the tight crop on the left to be the only negative. I would have prefered the entire tire included, but that may just be me. Nice job.

very little of the wheel is in the pic. the rack or fender support is the brightest item, drawing my attention, levain me usnure of what is the real subject i am supposed to focus on
