Just a thought... Maybe the model playing the instrument would have made a more beautiful shot. I do like this composition it is unique to the challenge.

the lines of her body seem to match the lines of the cello (if that is the right instrument). Given that, I wish her hips were not askew but actually mirrored the shape of the instrument since repetition can be very powerful and beautiful. I also would have liked it if some of her body were in shadow like the instrument for more mimicking.

Nice take on something that has been done before. I don't care for the selective desaturation, however, as it evokes a rather cold feeling where there should be warmth. Also, I think it would have been nicer if the model's hair weren't unkempt.
