Focus a little soft, could use a little USM. But this is a double edged sword because it looks like you may have used a high ISO by looking at the noise and sharpening would make the noise look worse. Maybe Neat Image and USM.

That bird is staring at us... I find the background a little distracting, it competes with the model quite a bit for attention. Maybe a tighter crop? Not sure.

this is a photo of a bird, no amount of clever title phrasing will change that and make it a habit. If you look at this photo without knowledge of the competition, it will take about a 1000 years before the word 'habit' is reached by the onlooker. a good photo but in completely the wrong place
