I like the contrast of the blue and gold, but there needs to be a focus point because right now it's just a bunch of leaves on a branch. Perhaps try cropping it to a certain area of the photo or even retaking it to get more depth of field to make the background less distracting. |

G, A, B, C?by Zap228Comment by hyphaefungi: G! Compositionally, I think it's okay. You might've gotten rid of the top left hand corner wood. Technically, I think the light bouncing off the black keys is distracting, not sure if it's from lamp or flash. You might not have had a choice there though. :D |

Image critique: dull, washed out (very bright hot spots in white) and too narrow DOF. Lighting is flat. Composition is OK.

Leaves of Changeby Zap228Comment by dwterry: I like the idea here. It could benefit from a single "main subject". Such as one larger leaf, or one whose color had changed more dramatically than the others, or one which was more surrounded by sky. Good luck in the challenge! |
