Spring in the Rockiesby postoakinversionComment by samtrundle: Very Pretty scene. Nice simple solid landscape shot. Absolutely nothing to fault about this shot. Might not be particularly deep, meaninful or original, but put this on a postcard and you'd make a lot of travellers happy. 8. |

Spring in the Rockiesby postoakinversionComment by e301: Good. For me, yourr crop is a touch loose at the top and tight at the bottom, almthough the stock agencies would love that, I'm sure. It has a grace and sense of light that I like very much. |

Schizophrenicby postoakinversionComment by thewriterside: I like how the tongue effectively doubles as the lower lip. Great composition. I get a "happy" headache every time I see this. Message edited by author 2005-01-26 03:48:22. |

Schizophrenicby postoakinversionComment by wingy: The effect on the mouth area is a bit unsettling and interesting at least, but the consequence of the rest of the face having no sharpness at all (from the incidental movement) is far too big of a problem to be ignored. |

The Stareby postoakinversionComment by mrorange002: Hello from the Critique Club!
This is a good take on the challenge "Bokeh". It's also an excellent self portrait. I think some lighting in the background would have definately helped this image out. With Bokeh, I think the background really should enhance the foreground, and the background in this image is just to dark. I think you were given some low points just for this fact alone. otherwise it's a terrific photo, and a superb self portrait. The focus is right on. and the expression in the eye is superb.
There really isn't anything else to say, it's a great shot, just doesn't really say "Bokeh" as much as it could!
Peace,
E

Spring in the Rockiesby postoakinversionComment by notonline: Interesting photo but I would have prefered to see it landscape instead of portrait. It has an excellent color range but lacks subject or interest but thats just my opinion. Nice photo and keep up the good work in 2005. |
