Tossed in the air - on the way to saving someone. Nice action - good use of off center. Wisht the light were more compelling. The image seems flat - A cloudy day? A deffinite direction to the light would help the viewers sense of up and down and the action of the life saver.

Rivetting. The dark highlights around the eyes work well as does the lighting. The lips feel a little too cut off though

this image doesn't have a lot to offer. it's mostly very dark, and while i understand that the challenge topic may have steered you in that direction, i think it really needs more contrast to make the textures pop. brighter light from the side would have helped lighten up some of the feather and show more of its contours and textures. 4.
