Without the title I would never have known that was a ring! Focus looks good, but with just a tiny little part of the ring sticking out of the snow, it looks way too flat!

I like the position of the shot with the tracks on the left and the I-beams on the right, but im having a tough time finding where the focus of the shot is. I think the shot would be better if the people in the photo were either in focus with a short depth of field so that the foreground was out of focus, or they were more out of focus. Nice shot selection though.

I think this picture could also work without the platform in the foreground, there's some great lines to it and the coloring gives it a neat mood. As it is, the camera's focuse in the foreground which isn't really the interesting part of the shot.
