Looks really odd. I see lots of artifacts, but the file size does not suggest excessive compression. Not sure if this is an intentional effect, or a reflection, or what...

It's possible that you repeatedly saved this as a JPEG during a number of editing sessions. If that is the case, the fix is to always save in an uncompressed format until you make your final save for upload. That would be either a TIF or your photo editors native format. PSD for Photoshop, PSPIMAGE for PaintShop Pro.

By your title, it looks like you doing a Song Title by a Band. Of course I've heard of 'Procol Harum' (you spelled yours wrong unless you did it on purpose) but I never really thought it meant anything. Now I've seen you have translated it back into Latin. An excellent lesson and I love that. The photo itself is not bad, the subject is very interesting and I love anything Egyptian. Ancient that is...

Nice yellow gold tones. Just a bit harsh on the light.

The jar to the left is distracting. There isn't that one cool thing to draw me in and keep my attention. My eyes are wandering the photo looking for it.

This doesn't come across as 'from the ground up' for me. Would like to see a more vertical aspect from the camera for this challenge.

well...we have the ground part and now we need to go up! Unique idea though. I think the pot/vase on the left needs to be taken out as it isn't helping the scene at all.

As a viewer, I cant see that any of the flowers, plants or the pots stand out in any way. This results in that the "visual message" of the image is that there is simply nothing specific or interesting going on in this image - and therefore it doesnt catch my interest.

Colors strike me as a bit strong, but I'm probably the only one. Nicely framed otherwise. Great patterns.
