Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but in spite of the many Komodo pictures I've seen before, this is the first time I have realised just how marked is the diagonally-opposite gait of this species. Probably it looks so exaggerated because the legs go so far sideways when off the ground. Illustrating that probably wasn't your intention, but either way, thank you.
