Not The Usual Prizeby SammieComment by dccloss: Interesting idea, but the flash used for this makes it a bit flat. Maybe try it without the flash, since it is a stationary subject anyway. The composition is not bad, except my eye keeps traveling to that right upper corner. Not sure what I would do there, though. |

Not The Usual Prizeby SammieComment by KaDi: Nice idea. Lots of diamonds in the challenge, but I like this almost-believable context. The lighting is harsh and perhaps a little overexposed. The composition is o.k. but I miss the paper wrapping that comes with the prize and feel the set-up of the box is just a little too unnatural. |
