When Pigs Flyby pmichaudComment by Yo_Spiff: Wheeeee!!!! Just a cool and fun abstracty shot. Looks more like cotton candy than pigs to me. But why would cotton candy be flying? I guess it would if it's too far to drive. |

When Pigs Flyby pmichaudComment by ubique: Best picture of Pigs in Flight ever! Superb job by you, and pretty impressive by the pigs as well (I'm assuming from the tight formation that this was done with captive, trained stunt pigs and not in the wild? Is it the Thunderpigs?) 8 & thank you. |

The Standoffby pmichaudComment by pmichaud: Originally posted by Giles_uk: i mean the pics a bit out of focus or just low quality? camera phone? you need to mount camera to your handle bars hehe, i ve got a 500cc polaris atv but no where near as much room to explore as you lot have in the states very jealous hehe. |
Probably a bit of both. I was on an ATV behind them and was more than a bit nervous about the outcome (so there may have been some camera shake). This image was taken in I just realized I used a copy my son had "tinkered" with for this edit. Hmmm. This was taken with my 30d back in 2007. I'll try to find the original and compare. We have a Polaris too and just love it. It has hauled our ancient selves up many a mountain trail.... I really like your idea of mounting a camera on the handle bars :) |

The Standoffby pmichaudComment by Yo_Spiff: Interesting ride there. My daughter and I had opportunity to herd a calf on our bicycles once. It had gotten out of it's field and was wandering down the road. |

Friendsby pmichaudComment by docpjv: Touching image, emotional. See this as a 'Get Well Soon / Missing You' card. Personally, a proper sepia or lith-process would have appealed much more than the lighter yellowish that looks a tad washed out. Increased contrast perhaps? A slight burn of the path may also help, unfortunately my eyes are drawn to the path more than it should be; a typical problem with white in the negative space. |
