Waiting at Casa del Solby pmichaudComment by garlic: Difficult lightning condition but meets the challenge for sure. Dont know if I find the subject very interesting but seems technically well performed. |

Hard Rock Cherriesby pmichaudComment by frisca: cute composition, but it seems somewhat underexposes. and those shadows are distracting. maybe a light to fill in the shadows would have helped? |

Hard Rock Cherriesby pmichaudComment by MrAkamai: Nice macro setup. Lighting is too direct from above causing uneven lighting along the bottom half of the cherries. The dark shadow in the lower left is distracting and should have been cropped out. |

Waiting at Casa del Solby pmichaudComment by Zal: Yes, there are 2 light sources, but unfortunately they aren't very well controlled. The bright window is completelyl blown out, and the area above the table is too dark in relation to it. This is an example of a scene with very difficult exposure conditions. A good try for the challenge though. |

Meditationby pmichaudComment by pmichaud: I feel compelled to respond to this one. Meditation can be considered to be a habit by those who regularly and frequently practice the discipline. In this case, the setting was important as it is a natural environment. It is early spring here. This particular spot is not in a swamp, but in the center of a ring of what will become tall bamboo later in the season. Part of the point was that, as with any habit, meditation can be practiced wherever you happen to be. |
