The Day The Music Diedby pmichaudComment by Alain: Beautiful picture! Would probably earned a ribbon in a proper contest.
Sorry, I just can't make the connection with "separation". |

The Day The Music Diedby pmichaudComment by Montereykiddo: Wow! Looks like a movie set. What exactly is the separation...I know this can be taken a few different way....I just wonder how you envision it. Separation of old/new, musician/instrument? Interesting and unique. Goodluck! |

Spentby pmichaudComment by Ozzie: The poor flower looks like it has seen better days, to me it looks a little washed out and a little out of focus. It's not always easy taking pictures of flowers, I know. |

Spentby pmichaudComment by awpollard: Pretty cool flower. Sharp and in focus. For me the lighting seems a tad bit harsh (shadow under the center petal) making the flower almost too sharp. When using the On Camera flash to tone it down a bit in situations like this, I hold a clear tupperware lid right over the (on camera) flash to soften (warm) the light a bit ...it works in a pinch. If I'm using my home rig (I really don't have anything) I will shine (spot) a desklamp or clamp light through a white sheet (as close to the subject as you can get it) onto the subject giving that warm feel and softening it up a bit. Just my thoughts...

Spentby pmichaudComment by scottwilson: I don't know for sure what it is but this photo feels pretty unnatural l to me. A flower past its prime is also not all that great of a subject. |

Spentby pmichaudComment by aerogurl: similiar to mine :) better lighting would have gotten a higher score from me. |

Light at the End of the Tunnelby pmichaudComment by puzzled: Very nice framing and good that you have the person in there. This is a difficult lighting situation, though. The whites got burned out while the tunnel (cave?) is almost too dark. It looks like a beautiful spot! |
