Kind of dark and nothing really jumps out at me. I'm not sure the low saturation against a dark background works for me. I do see some thought and effort here, however.

imo this would be stronger pulled back a bit to get the whole balloon bouquet in and to have some lighting highlight the balloons so we can see all the edges.

Good idea for this time of year, just not well executed in my opinion. The lighting is very harsh, and the bear takes center stage as the subject (can barely see the balloons).

I read somewhere that they were intended to be carried in pocket of a particular type of overcoat that was popular at the time, where the pocket was bizarrely large. I've got some Kodak "pockets" that I can't even fit in the microwave (not that I would do such a foolish thing, of course...). Nice set up you have here. Is it missing it's little stand? (see on the underside of the door - there should be a small metal rectangle, usually says "Kodak" on it - if you flip it out, it will level the camera out) - I see the side-stand is there - the little metal thing at the left corner - if you flip it out to the side it helps stand the camera while taking landscape shots.

Nicely done. A tighter crop may have helped us see more detail in the camera.

AAAAWWWWWW so sweet. I have always loved Polar Bears. I think he might play a little too rough for me though.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

First impressions are that the Giraffe is lost in all those lines.

Technically this is ok. Composition is good and I'm a fan of shots where the subject is only a small part of the frame. I agree with some voters that the hue is quite unnatural. The lighting looks like it was in full sun - hence the monotone?

Artistically I like the small in frame concept. I'd like to have the Giraffe's head not in the hole as the Giraffe looks a little awkward like he is. Given the advanced editing rules I'd have cloned a couple of distractions from the fence that seem to be attention grabbers.

In summary a cool shot but an unusual toning.

Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.
