One year, we went to the Grand Canyon in December. When we arrived it was a gorgeous, sunny day. We woke up the next day and it was covered in 6" inches of snow and cloudy, so we were lucky to see it bright and sunny without snow and moody and beautiful with it. This is a lovely viewpoint. Nicely shot.

Added PS: You really do need to clean your sensor! The sky shows a lot of spots.

Make sure he gets a copy of this photo for his photo album... so his kids can laugh at him too! Of course he'll have fabricated some intricate story to accompany the photo that will make him out to be an extreme ATV'er, and there was no bridge for 30 miles. My dad has a similar photo from when he and the boys would go out in their Jeeps.
