This is beautiful, the connection to the challenge is obvious, this is the best example I saw so far in the challenge where the unusual point of view is ment to enhance the composition. The circles, the lines, also good choice to make this b/w. I don't think it would worked so well in colors. 10.

A different view through a common object. I like the choice of black and white for this one. Nice grain to the image. The leaf in the foreground is a bit distracting. I might have actually removed it from the tree. Very nice! 9

I don't know what it is about this one. i keep coming back to it - it might not be the best picture this week, but it is certainly my no.1 favourite. it's completely met the challenge, has originality in spades, and i'm definitely attracted to it. after voting, you should put the colour one on your portfolio, for i would be interested to view it. this would have been great for the centre challenge. i might have been tempted to snip off the leaves in the immediate foreground - but then it's an interesting feature, so i'm glad you didn't. this is great, get's a 10 from me and hopefully it will make the top 10.

very nice capture! this is definitely an interesting viewpoint. My only nitpick is the leaf in front that's just out of focus, and sort of blocking the bench. otherwise, excellent!
