A good shot of childhood bliss. The red really pops out, but I'm not sure if the green on the left is distracting or good contrast. I like the duality of the melting ice cream and the fact the kid's in a zipped up jacket. Something about the kid's expression is a little troubling though, like eating the icecream is work, or hard, or something...

I like this photograph, I really do. Unfortunately I think you were very unlucky with the stage he was playing on. Such a honest expression deserves a better background I think.. (Not much we as photographers can do about it, but whoever arranged the festival should have put up black cloth to remove the stage ceiling/walls.

You had what almost every wind instrument entry was missing. "Hands" and "Mouth"

It was frustrating to see just a few cut off fingers or the tips of lips.

Too bad you couldn't have entered this one..
