Scary subject, nice side lighting. The officer doesn't seem to worried about her dog. "But grandma what big teeth you have!" Love the texture in the animal's coat.

Excellent! If your camera allows this I would have been tempted to open up the aperture (smaller F stop) to reduce the depth of field so that the dog was still sharp and the guy was slightly less in focus - at the moment he's so sharp he's distracting from the action (mind you, if you'd done this you would have got comments about it not being a people shot!). Assuming it wasn't me taking this shot - I'd suggest getting lower down so that the dog really is right on top of you.
