What's lacking in the technicals is made up in impact. Were you wearing your cat suit? Zoomed out just a little to include the dog's paws would be better, but I imagine it's hard to think straight in this situation. Very good.

Top picture, the person holding the lead should look at bit more menacing though. Or be a bit of a contrast (someone elderly or a youngster)

Dogs are people too? Seems slightly over-exposed(mouth, ground) and a little blurry. Try getting more depth-of-field and have both the dog and the handler in focus.
