Famine? There's some corn right there...hurry, grab it before the raccoons come! Sorry, couldn't resist making a bad joke. It's a very nice photo. The color contrast and lighting are great. I know it was an option but I was really hoping for more use of the expert editing. I'm not voting but if I were I'd have given your photo a 9.

The image catches my eye. But the symbolism is inaccurate. Famine bespeaks complete lack of food due to conditions in which the corn would shrivel at the stalk. The corn pictured is clearly healthy and providing of sustenance. So famine is an inappropriate title. Perhaps something like Bush Fire might work better. As I said to start with, it is a captivating photo though.
