i would have liked it better with the duck in focus and less overexposed sky ... also there is some weird horizontal line across the image with higher contrast below and les contrast above ???

I think this image may have been oversharpened. It seems like you have some haloing around the branches. It is a good idea but not the most powerful image for me. Maybe if there were less branches and if the duck was in the crosshairs of a deer rifle sight?

sorry, the selective desaturation doesn't really work with this shot, IMHO. I also think it would have been better if the background subjects were still, with the motion blur on the front subject. The way it is, it just looks like camera shake.
