I think that this would fit far better as a close-up abstract piece that is an exploration of detail and textures of the common everyday object of a city street. It is an object that one rarely gives a second glance as one walks on, drives by, or cycles past...but it is the groundwork we travel on. There is some wonderful detail here but I think B&W would be a better choice to show the play of light and shadow and the texture detail of the road.
