dude, you're being a dick. If you don't like it, fine. But accept that there are other viewpoints out there that are different from yours and that doesn't make them wrong. |

Symbioseby Gil PComment by Article19: i said it then and I say it now that this is a god awful image, it is misogynistic, cliched, trite and a million other words to cream it that I can think of. The ranking of this image has seriously dented my confidence in the folks who vote on these challenges. How the hell can anyone, any one who is right minded, give this a 10?
This is nothing personal against the photographer, shoot what you want, but come on guys!

Great tonal study with cool subject matter, bumping up on artistic effort. Message edited by author 2004-11-08 01:36:59. |

Symbioseby Gil PComment by tfaust: I really like everything about this picture except the lighting. It's the hardest part of studio photography and something I wish I had a better grasp of doing myself. In this shot the lighting is too harsh, mainly on the man, but in just a few spots on the woman. This may be doubled by the shine - although I think that's a fantastic addition to this type of pose.
His right foot (the one arched up) almost looks unnatural and deliberate.
Very nice studio work with these 2 though, they make great models! |
