The first place shot may be a familiar technique, but relative to the other shots in the contest, it stood out as exceptionally aesthetically pleasing, creative, clear, etc. Yes, obviously yours was up there to. For whatever reason the other shot rated slightly more favorably with the audience.
Pat yourself on the back for taking a kick-butt shot that was hailed as superb by many, and, please, quit whining. |
Quit whining? Or quit having an opinion? And as far as "familiar technique" that's quite an understatement. |
